Always open to learning new things, Courtney loves the challenge that each unique project has to offer: the balancing of aesthetic and technical aspects, the collaboration and coordination with the design team, and the creativity and problem solving essential for a successful project. Courtney received her Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Architectural Engineering, with a minor in architectural studies and a special emphasis in Lighting Design. Before joining Lighting Workshop, she began her professional career with Fisher Marantz Stone, where she gained invaluable experience working in key leadership roles for projects including the Chanel New Bond Street flagship boutique in London, the Barnes Foundation in Philadelphia, the Andlinger Center for Energy and the Environment at Princeton University, and Chimelong Ocean Kingdom theme park in Hengqin, China. Outside the studio, Courtney enjoys going for a long bike ride, exploring the unexplored, re-exploring the explored, and the occasional Drink and Draw.
