Jeeyoung lives for…and lights for people. Ever thoughtful of those who will live, work and play in the spaces we light, and of our project teammates with whom we collaborate, she practices with the conviction that strong organization coupled with great teamwork forms the foundation of successful projects. Jeeyoung earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Urban Design from Hongik University in Korea and a Master of Fine Arts Degree in Architectural Lighting Design from Parsons School of Design. Prior to joining Lighting Workshop, she worked for Brandston Partnership Inc. and developed her professional lighting design experience through managing a variety of projects such as Barnard Nexus College in NYC, Lujiazui Financial Center in Shanghai and the National Museum of American Jewish History. She most enjoys lighting for residential and hospitality settings and has honed these skills on such projects as the Smyth Tribeca Hotel, the Omni Berkshire Hotel Bar, the Viceroy Hotel, the Shangri-La Hotel and the NY Jets New Meadowlands Stadium VIP Room Bar.
