SUSTAINABLE LIGHTING DESIGN - WE GET IT...

And we practice it every day and on every project.  We feel that sustainability should be one of many positive results of good lighting design, but not necessarily the driving force behind it. After all, we design because it's fun. We arrive at exciting "green" design solutions because we believe they can be both socially necessary and economically practical. Moreover, we seek clients and partners who share this philosophy.

Sustainable lighting isn't defined by mass quantities of compact fluorescent lamps or extensive installations of LED’s, and it shouldn't blindly relegate  valuable conventional light sources to the scrap heap of history.  So, while we employ advanced practices and technologies to reduce lighting demand, we begin by applying light creatively to do what light alone can do, and we counsel our clients on how to make use of traditional lighting sources in a responsible manner.  To us, sustainable design is a dynamic process - a rethinking and reinvention of practices and melding of technologies - and a shared responsibility.
